Alpine Odyssey Policies and Waivers

Waivers of Liability

Alpine Odyssey requires that all guests must read and communicate to their guide that the waiver has been read before payment is made and booking is secured. The in person singing of the waiver will be witnessed by the guide usually on the first morning of the trip. The medical history form and emergency contact form will be filled out at this time as well. It is imperative that you communicate any health concerns as soon as possible when booking a trip.

Refund/Cancellation

Cancelling a trip for refund requires a thirty day notice before a full refund will be given. If the trip is booked within thirty days of the start of the trip no refund will be given in the event of cancellation. Trip Cancellation Insurance is recommended.

Weather

If a desired route is unattainable for reasons of unacceptable risk, inappropriate weather or route conditions being undesirable an alternative route will be selected by the guide in lieu of the chosen route.

Equipment

Some gear may be borrowed for a trip, however large groups usually require some rentals. Mountaineering boots are never provided but can be rented for the guest.
